Activism is cool again. People everywhere are turning to protest and social movements in order to change the world for the better. And yet, there is a growing sense among activists that traditional forms of activism—from mass marches to digital advocacy—are no longer effective. 

Whenever activists act predictably, their movements tend to fail. So what should activists do to change the world?

In this participatory workshop, led by the co-creator of Occupy Wall Street, a social movement that spread to 82 countries in 2011, we will explore the future of activism: the tactics and strategies that will ultimately spark transformative social change.
